ONE YEAR OLD 31 inches, 23 lbs! About 6 teeth, two in the bottom all the way in, 4 up top struggling to come on down! She is so great! loves music and her daddy!!!

Vara you are 11 months old today. I know of two teeth that I can see, the bottom two. Before I left for Canada earlier this week i could feel the top two, and I am pretty sure the next two on the bottom are not far behind! I love you and hope you know that just because I travel a little doesn't mean i don't wish I were with you all the time. MUAH. mommy

Vara James 9 months old... today her appointment did not include shots, but some blood was drawn for her to check for her Sickle Cell and Anemia. They will get to root of this bloodline issue! and the dr. suggested that before she were married (or had a child) she check out all partners.... that was so strange to consider... this little being growing up, moving out and getting on with her own family. (sniff sniff)

Stats! 21 pounds 10 oz (90%) 29 inches tall (90%)and head is again OFF THE CHARTS with 49 CM !
She pulls herself up, she smiles, laughs, understands NO but doesn't adhere to it. She shares her pacifier with you if you are nice. No more baby food! formula and oatmeal, but no other jars! that is awesome.

Vara James is 9 months old today. She is about 21 lbs, and is full of spirit.

VARA IS 7 months old tomorrow! I can't believe it.

PURE JOY....Vara James has taught me in 6 months a million things, but I am sure that this photo is the reflection of what pure joy feels like. She is a lot of things, but most importantly my saving grace and a gift that I know ONLY God could give. We are so lucky to have her and for her I am eternally grateful... just make sure someone writes that down so when she is 16 I can remind myself! Happy 6 months Sweet Vara James

Tough day to day... vomit, diapers, clothes, a bath.. oh wait, thats everyday..... vara is starting to giggle out loud... so cute, for instance she just laughed in her sleep and then cried, she is still trying to learn when to use it and its appropriateness. But its funny to watch her learn her emotions. She has only had cry for so long, now she has laugh, cry, smile and whimper... oh and TOOT!

weighing in at 12 lbs 10 oz... vara james had her two month shots today and is SO mad about it.... she is in the 93 % of height 90% weight and has a big head!!! we love her! Feel better vara.

Happy New year. Vara headed out in her party dress and tights this fine NYE and she was the hit of the party. 10lbs 5 oz last week at her appointment. She is a healthy tot! We are so in love with her... and for now, i don't think she has any deep rooted psychological issues with us a of yet! photos to follow!
